sure that you and the contractor are on the same wavelength
and can communicate well together.

the contractor can help you plan your new space. They
know the cost of things and can help figure out the
best way to accomplish your goals.

Figure
out how much your remodel is going to cost and decide
if it is affordable.

Check
with an appraiser or Realtor to make sure that you
are not over-improving for your neighborhood.
